Route Bullas Wine Association held its General Assembly recently, which has renewed its Board of Directors that according to its statutes renewed every two years.
So, last Monday it was decided that the President is Antonia Fernandez, owner of the Pine Glen Bed and Francisco Carreño Cooperative Nuestra Señora del Rosario becomes Vice President.
The Secretary is Antonio David Valcarcel Entre Tempos Café & Wine and Winery Francisca Sanchez Lorenzo Lavia CFO.
In addition to six members they were chosen in this order: Lazaro Perez Bejar (Bed Maria Postman), Nicolas Bastida Sanchez (Bodega Cooperativa San Isidro), Josefa Fernandez Fernandez (Bodega Balcona), Martin Gea Sanchez (Molino de Abajo), Agatha Fernandez Egea (City of Bullas) and Ana Maria Molina Lopez (City of Cehegín).
In the same meeting, the report of activities and the budget that it has to organize activities during the year 2016 was approved.
The main objectives of the Association to promote the brand "Bullas Wine Route" and the development of a marketing plan that will contribute to the creation and dissemination of new tourism products that enrich the offer of wine tourism in our region arises.
Also, he presented the Work Plan to two years, which includes training plan, promotional activities and recruitment of technical assistance to improve quality in the different establishments that are accredited or certified aim within the Wine Route .
Currently the Association is comprised of warehouses, accommodation, restaurants, wine bars, shops, wine bars, travel agencies, museums ..., and two municipalities (Bullas and Cehegín) and the Regulatory Council of the DO Bullas.
