In a ceremony held yesterday at the Women's Business Incubator, which was chaired Esteban Egea Fernández, Mayor of Bullas, and María Dolores Muñoz Valverde, Councillor for Local Development, proceeded to closing and delivery of diplomas to the students workers of the employment workshop "The Rafa II" project launched this past November 19, 2007, by the Municipality of Bullas, in collaboration with the Regional Employment and Training.
This project has been oriented toward the employability of unemployed people over 25 years through the development of learning experiences in theory and practice in areas that are new sources of employment.
The budget of the project has amounted to € 461,184.86, of which 30,000 have been provided by the City and the rest by the Regional Employment Service.
The project involved 22 students / workers who have improved their qualification in three areas: carpentry, painting and gardening, alternating theoretical training with practical work performing public or social interest that have improved their skills and experience.
The works have been performed during this important project for training and employment have been, among others, the full recovery of certain areas of La Rafa, conditioning various parts of the population and Cup with street furniture and the maintenance and improvement of certain gardens.
