On Friday 9 January saw the first meeting of the Advisory Council on the Environment and Urban Planning of Bullas.
It is a body of citizen participation that are represented in the technical, political representatives, representatives of environmental organizations and citizens, making a total of 14 permanent members, who will join guests / as a function of the topics.
The advisory body will review the environmental and development projects of importance to the municipality and shall, on a mandatory, opinions about them.
For example, it is expected that one of the first tasks of this council is to rule on the proposed new General Plan being developed by the Municipal Government.
According to the Town Planning and Environment, the main objectives of this body are: to gather ideas and approaches for deciding on the richest topics and generalize an open and transparent planning policy, urban issues where timing can be known and discussed by all, without secrecy.
There are municipalities where more depth planning decisions are kept secret and only a few jealously guard information in Bullas, we want the planning has glass walls.
The next Council meeting will take place in late February.
