To mark the International Year of Astronomy 2009, the Comprehensive Land Foundation organized with Cel Fosc, Light Pollution Association and the Astronomical Association of Cartagena an astronomical day, public and free, which will be held on Saturday, January 31 2009, CEAMA facilities (Center for Agroecology and Environment of Murcia) in Bullas.

Approximate order of activity
The International Year of Astronomy, declared by UNESCO, is a global celebration of astronomy and its contributions to society, culture and human development.
Its main objective is to encourage citizens around the world to redefine their place in the universe across a path of discovery that began 400 years ago, when Galileo Galilei first pointed to the sky with a telescope.
