The Governing Council has approved the procurement of the works of the proposed wastewater discharge from the hamlet of La Copa de Bullas to municipal sewage treatment plant, which will involve an investment of 1.5 billion euros in 2010.
The work planned will improve the sanitation infrastructure in the area and solve the shortage of water purification Bullas Cup through its pumping and pipeline to the municipal sewage outfall of where water is treated.
This is a line drive about 4.5 miles with two pumps of 25 kilowatts, a system where water is transported to the junction with the sewage outfall of the municipality.
This infrastructure will serve the needs of the 1,000 residents of La Copa de Bullas, thereby supplementing the water infrastructure necessary to serve the entire population of the municipality of Bullas.
The project is funded by 80 percent from the Cohesion Fund of the European Union and the rest of the region.
