In the first days of April there was a plenary session of the City Council postponed Bullas in which, among other issues, discussed and passed a motion of the PP against the VAT hike passed by the national government.
The motion was rejected by 7 votes of the Socialist Party and voted in favor of the 6 council members of the PP present Councilman IU + LV, which is clearly well positioned against this rise.
Finally, the motion could not be approved because it lacked two councilors in PP and the Mayor used his casting vote to a tie at 7 in the voting.
A few days later, PP Bullas has sent the media a press release accusing the PSOE and IU to be in favor of the VAT hike, consciously manipulating and lying on the outcome of the plenary.
IU voted against the VAT hike in Madrid, and in Bullas, as reflected in the minutes of the plenary and was seen in the transmission of it through the local TV.
Unfortunately it is not the first time that this political formation, which in Bullas has radicalized to the point, being unable, for example, to condemn the Franco regime, he invents facts exist for the sole purpose of defaming IU.
IU therefore requires the PP a public withdrawal of the lies made to its press release about the increase in VAT.
Also urged to stop using propaganda techniques based on lies and manipulation of reality that lead to a lack of respect for the intelligence of the citizens and political honesty.
