Palancares Food Company, manufacturer and marketer of cheese and dairy products, owned by Grupo Fuertes has inaugurated a plant for the production of pressed cheese and ultrafiltrates, which will allow a tenfold increase their productive capacity and which has invested 6 million euros .
The event which was chaired by the Minister of Agriculture and Water in the Region of Murcia, Antonio Cerdá, has benefited from the presence of President of the Fuertes Group and its CEO José Fuertes and the mayor of Bullas, Esteban Egea, among other guests.
This investment has as main objective the introduction of innovative and efficient production systems that will allow a symbiosis between craft techniques and a complete automation in the food manufacturing and Food Palancares addition to ensure their future growth.
It has also meant the deployment of technology that exceeds the standards and food safety standards worldwide.
Moreover, the introduction of these technological processes provide maximum utilization of raw materials, through the application of technical excellence in nutrient recovery, treatment technologies for utilization of the whey that allow their return to the various processing and determine a significant increase in operational efficiency, and a reconciliation of sustainable development.
The investment has created 6 new direct jobs and about 20 indirect jobs.
This financial injection will allow Palancares Food tenfold increase its current production capacity to over ten million kilos annually.
Located in Bullas (Murcia) the company intends to become Palancares cheese cheese referring Spanish in our country and beyond our borders, where the cheese of Murcia is experiencing a great time.
